Oversaw and directed a central student affairs program including Leadership Development, Health Education and Promotion, York is U Student Alumni Program, Student Life with over 300 student organizations, along with front desk operations. Collaborated with a multi stakeholder project team including members from York's Career Centre and Alumni Office. Transitioned existing paper forms and processes to online and redirected staff resources from transactional to transformational. Successfully launched system that has over 11 000 users contributing over 23 000 service hours in less than a year. - Provided oversight and direction on the transformation of existing Student Leadership Development program from a series of knowledge and skills based workshops to one that is grounded in the social change model of leadership and service-based, experiential activities. - Appointed to a leadership role to engage students in relation to campus sustainability including chairing a working group for the Presidential Sustainability council and securing external resources to spearhead the student peer education program Rez Race to Zero. - Expanded health education program as part of a focus on student wellness, which resulted in creation of mental health peer team and menâs peer health team. - Led change management process for financial oversight and development for student levied organizations to ensure accountability and transparency for university and students alike.
